Later in the day, H+B and D+D had dinner at Niels's farm.

In Denmark, mostly

A pair of revelers (one Danish, one Dutch) on their way from Holland to Münster, Germany for Carnival. We just happened to be going the same way. We continued on to Hamburg.

Ice Museum

Welcome, Ellie!

Dear Family,

Here are some pictures of our newest member. Ellie Autumn Steinlicht was born around 6:15 PM in Fargo, ND on 2/27/07. She weighed 8lb 12oz & was 20” long.

Chelsey’s due date was 2/21 & when she went to see the Dr. on Monday, he told her to come in early Tuesday morning to be induced. Her Aunt Mary had a cold, so Grandma Kathy & I drove to Fargo Tuesday. Dan called us a couple of times with updates on Chelsey’s progress. After checking into our Motel, we went to the Hospital to wait patiently (?) for further news. Chelsey’s parents had decided to do the same thing, so we waited together.

Finally, Dan called us into Chelsey’s room where we met Ellie for the first time. During our visits both Tuesday evening & Wednesday morning, she behaved perfectly. She was awake, alert & content being passed from family member to family member. Kathy & I arrived home Wednesday afternoon just as it started snowing again.

We’re very grateful that both Mommy & Baby are healthy.
