Delayed posting - David's book debut - oh, and a large group exhibition

For some reason I couldn't get these photos off my phone until now. Better late than never, I guess. Congratulations, David!

Chuckwagon Family Picnic at Madonna Towers

This was a big event. Madonna Towers' front driveway was filled with tables -- from 19th Avenue around the corner by the front door to the visitors parking spots. We had a nice meal, there was a three-piece band playing country & western music. A guy had a couple of ponies and there was a cool covered wagon. The weather was perfect.

The younger Wilsons planned to spend the night and catch the Olmsted County Fair the next day.

The Wilsons are enjoying the picnic. The menu included corn, watermelon, beans and B-B-Q -- some fine vittles.

You do like this ... and you do like this ...

I have posted 12 little YouTube videos describing how I make one of Grandpa's stitched yarn balls. Here's the link to my YouTube channel. I wasn't able to figure out how to line them up so that they follow one after the other, but the first one is numbered "01" and so on through "12." Here's the link if you care to watch them: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=YouDoLikeThis&view=videos
